LANSON-BCC Reports 2024 Revenues of €255.4 Million Amid Market Challenges

LANSON-BCC, a group of eight Champagne Maisons, announced its 2024 revenues at €255.4 million, marking a 6.0% decrease. The Champagne industry faced a 9.2% decline in shipment volumes due to inflation and geopolitical uncertainties, with global revenues just under €6 billion. France's volumes dropped by 7.2%, while exports fell by 10.8%.
The group experienced a 0.7% revenue increase in France, which accounts for 47.4% of its volumes. However, export revenues, making up 52.6% of volumes, decreased by 11.8%. This was largely influenced by declining shipments, particularly in the UK, due to overstock and reduced consumption.
Despite challenges, LANSON-BCC is committed to its premiumization strategy, focusing on high-end wine segments to counter rising grape costs and cellar aging expenses. Full-year earnings will be released on March 4, 2025.
