LDC: Results for the first half of 2024-2025
LDC, based in Sablé-sur-Sarthe, announced results in line with expectations for the first half of 2024-2025. The agri-food group saw its volumes sold increase by 4.9%, despite a 1.2% drop in sales in value due to the tariff adjustments of the Egalim Law and the drop in raw material prices. LDC posted volumes up 3.6% on a like-for-like basis, despite tensions on purchasing power.
In France, poultry sales increased by 4.5% in volume, but declined by 4.1% in value. International sales also decreased by 4.6%, although volumes increased by 3.9%, thanks to the good momentum of processed products. The Catering division experienced volume growth of 11.4%, notably thanks to the integration of Délices de Saint-Léonard.
