Leadership Updates at Cembra Money Bank AG
Zurich-based Cembra Money Bank AG announces significant updates in its Management Board and Board of Directors. Effective from 1 April and 1 June 2024, respectively, Christian Stolz and Sandra Babylon will join the Management Board, following a reorganization into two business lines: Lending and Payments. Stolz, with a rich background in financial services and payments, previously led Byjuno before its acquisition by Cembra. Babylon, an experienced IT and management professional, is set to assume the role of Chief Technology Officer, succeeding Christian Schmitt who contributed notably to the bank's technological transformation.
Moreover, Sandra Hauser is proposed for election to the Board of Directors at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting on 24 April 2024. Hauser's extensive experience in IT management within the financial sector bolsters her candidacy, following the decision of current members Jörg Behrens and Alex Finn not to seek re-election. Cembra's leadership expresses gratitude towards the outgoing members and welcomes the new appointees, anticipating their contributions to the bank’s continuation on a path of innovation and efficiency.
