Leading Sexologist Shan Boodram Joins Arya as Chief Intimacy Officer

Arya, a holistic sexual wellness platform, has announced that sexologist Shan Boodram has joined as Chief Intimacy Officer. This comes as Arya raises $7.5 million in a seed round co-led by Patron and Play Ventures. Boodram's expertise will be used to expand Arya's AI-driven Concierge service, which offers personalized advice and fantasy packages to couples.

Boodram is a notable figure in the field of sex education, with appearances on major media outlets like CNN and The New York Times. She has authored books and served as an expert on various shows, including Netflix's "Too Hot To Handle".

The Arya platform uses a detailed questionnaire and expert algorithms to provide couples with tailored intimacy advice and experiences. Founder Offer Yehudai emphasized the company's mission to integrate sexual wellness into holistic health approaches and looks forward to Boodram's contributions in expanding their user base.

Additional investors in Arya's seed round include At.inc/ and Heracles Capital, along with angel investors from companies like Casper and Oura.
