Lhyfe obtains a grant of EUR 11 million for a green hydrogen project in Sweden
Lhyfe, a pioneer in green hydrogen, has obtained an 11 million euro grant from Klimatklivet for its project in Trelleborg, Sweden. This grant, the first in Sweden for Lhyfe, will be used to build a factory producing up to 4 tonnes of green hydrogen per day.
The plant, with a capacity of 10 MW, will aim to supply the hydrogen needs of the local mobility and industrial sectors. The first kilos of green hydrogen are expected in 2027. Located in a strategic region for transport, the plant will support efforts to decarbonize local mobility.
Lhyfe, active in 12 European countries, has opened several sites in France and Germany since 2021. This expansion aims to increase the penetration of green hydrogen in Europe.
