Li-FT Announces 50.4 Million Tonne Maiden Resource at Yellowknife Lithium Project

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / October 1, 2024 / Li-FT Power Ltd. (TSXV:LIFT) has unveiled its first NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate for the Yellowknife Lithium Project in the Northwest Territories. The estimate ranks this project as the 3rd largest hard-rock maiden resource in Canada and the 10th in the Western Hemisphere.

The initial estimate covers eight spodumene-bearing pegmatite dykes. With 50.4 million tonnes at a grade of 1.00% Li2O, it positions the project among the top 10 largest spodumene projects in the Americas. The resource is based on ten months and 49,548 meters of drilling, with opportunities for growth from further drilling.

The Proximity to infrastructure enhances the project's prospects, with access to major ports and rail, and integration with existing powerlines outside Yellowknife. A preliminary economic assessment is targeted for Q2 2025.
