Lighthouse Innovates with Smart Summaries for Hotels Using AI

Lighthouse, a leading platform in the travel and hospitality sector, announced the launch of Smart Summaries, a new addition to its Business Intelligence solution. These summaries use generative artificial intelligence (generative AI) to transform complex data into simple daily performance summaries for hotel sales teams. This innovation transforms complex data analysis into more accessible revenue decisions.

Using advanced generative AI learning models now allows hospitality professionals to receive personalized performance summaries. Built from massive data sets and tens of thousands of human-written summaries, these intelligent summaries promise to improve revenue management by reducing the time it takes to compile critical data such as booking changes, ADR , segmentation and occupancy rate.

Sean Fitzpatrick, CEO of Lighthouse, highlights that this innovation places his company at the forefront of generative AI in the hospitality industry, aiming to optimize revenue management by eliminating routine administrative tasks. Greg Peppel, BI product manager at Lighthouse, adds that this technology aims to significantly reduce the time revenue managers spend on non-revenue-generating tasks, allowing them to focus more on strategic initiatives.

Lighthouse Smart Summaries are currently available to a limited set of customers and will roll out globally in the coming months.
