Lonza Nominates Pearl Huang as Independent Board Member

Lonza Group AG has nominated Pearl Huang as an independent member of its Board of Directors. This nomination is subject to approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) in May 2027. Upon election, Huang will join the Strategy and Innovation Committee as well as the Remuneration Committee.

Pearl Huang brings a wealth of experience from the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, having held leadership positions at Roche, GSK, and Merck. Her contributions to drug discovery and innovation underscore her scientific acumen, making her a valuable addition to Lonza. Currently, she serves on the boards of Waters Corporation and BB Biotech.

The announcement also noted that Angelica Kohlmann and Christoph Mäder will not seek re-election at the AGM, consistent with Lonza's board renewal policy. Chairman Jean-Marc Huët expressed gratitude for their years of valuable service. These changes reflect Lonza's ongoing board evolution to enhance strategic capabilities.
