Luanda International Fair 2024: Successes and International Partnerships
The Luanda International Fair (FILDA) 2024 closed its 39th edition with the participation of 1,771 companies. The event, held from July 23 to 28 in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone, focused on food security and international partnerships.
FILDA attracted political and economic figures such as the Vice President of Angola and the Prime Minister of Portugal. Delegations from countries such as Italy, Brazil, Canada, Portugal and the United States were also present, strengthening commercial ties with Angola.
Bruno Albernaz, CEO of the Arena Group, paid tribute to the Lunda-Cokwe culture for its role in artisanal development. More than 80,000 visitors attended the fair, consolidating Angola as a focal point of international business.
FILDA highlighted the importance of logistics, certification and financial instruments to strengthen food security and promote the quality of Angolan products. The fair remains a crucial event for the country's economic diversification and its integration into world trade.
