Matthias Schupp Appointed as CEO of Medartis

Medartis Holding AG has announced the appointment of Matthias Schupp as CEO, effective from November. Schupp will succeed Christoph Brönnimann, who will assist in a seamless transition.

Schupp brings extensive experience in the global medical technology sector, having held senior leadership roles at Straumann Group for 17 years. He significantly influenced the growth and success of Neodent and was a member of the Executive Management Board of Straumann.

Schupp's career began at Merck KGaA, where he advanced to Regional Manager for Latin America and USA. He later joined Wella and managed its operations in Russia and Portugal following P&G's acquisition.

Marco Gadola, Chairman of Medartis, praised Schupp’s leadership abilities and thanked Christoph Brönnimann for his service. Schupp expressed enthusiasm for his new role and Medartis' growth potential.
