Maurel & Prom Announces Changes in Governance
On 19 July 2024, Maurel & Prom announced key changes in its governance structure. During the Board of Directors meeting held on 17 July, Jaffee Suardin was appointed as a director and Chairman of the Board, taking over from John Anis. The Board acknowledged John Anis's dedication and his significant contributions during his tenure.
Jaffee Suardin brings over two decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, including roles within Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. CEO Olivier de Langavant expressed his gratitude towards John Anis and anticipation to work with Suardin.
The Board also appointed two new directors, Awang Lazuardi and Bagus Rahadiansyah, who will serve on various committees to ensure compliance with independence and gender balance regulations. The new structure aims to support Maurel & Prom’s commitment to sustainable growth and value creation for its shareholders.
