Maxon Unveils ZBrush for iPad, Enhancing Mobile Digital Sculpting

Maxon has announced the release of ZBrush for iPad, bringing the powerful capabilities of its award-winning digital sculpting software to mobile devices. This new version retains many features of the desktop application, offering over 200 proprietary brushes and customizable controls for the Apple Pencil.

ZBrush for iPad preserves polygon counts based on iPad memory, with the latest models supporting up to 92 million polygons per mesh. The interface has been tailored for touch-based inputs, enhancing user experience with tools like ZRemesher and Sculptris Pro. Other features include DynaMesh, Array Mesh, and Live Boolean for intricate designs.

Available with ZBrush and Maxon One subscriptions, the app also offers a free plan for beginners. ZBrush for iPad can share files seamlessly between mobile and desktop environments. It's compatible with iPadOS 17 or later and requires an A12 Bionic or newer.
