MBB SE Achieves 37% Increase in EBITDA in First Half-Year
MBB SE, a medium-sized family-owned company, reported a significant growth in its revenue and earnings in the first half of 2025. The company witnessed a 16.8% increase in revenue, reaching €545.5 million, while its adjusted EBITDA soared by 36.8% to €76.4 million. The EBITDA margin improved to 14.1%. In the second quarter alone, EBITDA grew by 40.2% to €46.5 million.
The Service & Infrastructure segment was the main growth driver, with revenue increasing by 49.0% to €361.6 million and EBITDA by 95.4% to €62.4 million. Friedrich Vorwerk notably increased its revenue by 56.1% due to high project demand. Conversely, the Technological Applications segment saw declines due to reduced demand in the automotive sector, lowering revenue by 20.3%.
Despite increased investments, MBB maintained a net liquidity of €457.4 million by mid-year. The company reaffirms its annual forecast, predicting revenues of up to €1.1 billion.
