McFarlane Lake Mining Awards Drilling Contract at McMillan Mine
McFarlane Lake Mining Limited has announced a diamond drilling contract for its McMillan Mine property. This winter drilling program plans at least 3,000 meters to explore and expand high-grade gold intercepts.
The McMillan Mine, a former gold producer, lies 70 kilometers west of Sudbury, Ontario. Recent samples from the mine show potential high-grade gold, along with copper, cobalt, and nickel.
McFarlane has also enhanced its geological team by hiring Wesley and Winston Whymark. The brothers bring over 30 years of combined experience in mineral exploration, including familiarity with the McMillan Mine's geology.
Wesley Whymark, a consulting geologist, reviewed and approved the technical information in this announcement. The area's exploration potential was highlighted in multiple Ontario Geological Survey reports.
