Medicure Inc., a company centered on pharmaceuticals and healthcare products in the U.S., has successfully completed the acquisition of Gateway Medical Pharmacy Inc. through its subsidiary, Medicure Pharma Inc. The acquisition, announced on March 11, 2025, aligns with Medicure's strategy to expand its direct-to-consumer pharmacy business and accelerate the growth of its product offerings, including ZYPITAMAG®.

This transaction required no financing or debt, staying consistent with the company's financial health strategy. Gateway Medical Pharmacy, based in Portland, Oregon, extends services to long-term care facilities and offers compounding services.
