Mental Health Professionals Offer Affordable Help via Interactive Webinars

Lifescapes Counseling Associates, PLLC, based in Apex, North Carolina, is introducing a new initiative to expand its mental health services. Starting this April, the practice will launch the ACCESSlifescapes Webinar Series. This series aims to provide affordable, interactive psychoeducational webinars to the general public. These webinars, facilitated via video in an interactive question-and-answer format, are designed to allow participants to engage directly with licensed mental health professionals.

According to Amy Moulds, Practice Director at Lifescapes Counseling, the webinars will address common issues frequently discussed in therapy sessions. The initiative seeks to alleviate feelings of isolation among individuals facing psychological, psychiatric, and behavioral challenges. Topics such as school refusal, psychiatric medication, and parenting LGBTQIA+ adolescents will be covered. The webinars also promise a confidential environment for peer support and validation.

With a registration fee of $30 for a 90-minute session, the webinars allow pre-submission of questions to tailor the discussion to the participants' needs. Pending the public's interest, Lifescapes Counseling plans to offer these webinars on a monthly or bimonthly basis, focusing on various relevant topics identified in their clinical practice. The first scheduled webinar will address the issue of school refusal among students.
