Meyer Burger Announces Preliminary Half-Year Figures and Report Timeline

Meyer Burger Technology AG has reported preliminary financial results for the first half of 2024. Consolidated sales reached CHF 48.7 million, with CHF 43.4 million stemming from solar module sales. As of June 30, 2024, the company held CHF 158.6 million in cash and cash equivalents.

The company is in the midst of a restructuring program aimed at returning to profitability, exploring various options to cover a remaining financing gap. The preliminary financial figures, which are unaudited, may change upon finalization of the full report. The half-year report, detailing the progress of the realignment, is set for release by October 31, 2024.

SIX Exchange Regulation has granted Meyer Burger an extension to submit their report by the end of October. Should the company fail to meet this deadline, trading in Meyer Burger securities may be suspended.
