MIT Solve Initiates $1.5M Global Quest for Technology-Driven Social Innovation
MIT Solve, a social impact platform, has launched its 2025 Global Challenges and Indigenous Communities Fellowship. This initiative calls for global innovators to propose tech-based solutions to pressing issues such as Climate, Health, Learning, Economic Prosperity, and Indigenous Communities. With over $1.5 million in funding available, the program offers significant opportunities for expansion and networking.
"Technology is transforming our world rapidly," states Hala Hanna, MIT Solve's Executive Director. The Solver teams are redefining social innovation, impacting over 280 million lives globally by demonstrating the scalability of human-centered technology.
Winners will be announced during the Solve Challenge Finals, aligning with Climate Week and the UN General Assembly in New York. Selected innovators join a nine-month support program with MIT's ecosystem, mentorship, and financial support.
2025 offers over $1.5 million in funding, including special prizes like the Health Innovation Award and the AI for Humanity Prize.
