Jose Machuca will become President, replacing founder Carl Lorentzen, and Kai Fredlov will be the new Vice President of Engineering, taking over from Per Carlson.

Lorentzen highlighted the importance of having a reliable transition plan to support customers making significant investments. Both Machuca and Fredlov are seasoned professionals with extensive experience in MJC’s operations, which reassures continuity and expertise.
Lorentzen will transition to Director of Sales, focusing on customer satisfaction after the reshuffle. Carlson will assume a new role as Director of Engineering, where he will apply his extensive experience to foster innovation and research within the company. The official transition is scheduled for January 2025, with both current leaders set to mentor their successors until then.
