Strong Financial Performance of Mobilezone in First Half of 2025

Mobilezone achieved its best first half-year ever in Switzerland, driven by successes in its MVNO sector. Swiss operations reached record highs in 26 years, with a notable 17.6% increase in MVNO postpaid subscribers to 439,600 and a sales growth to CHF 41.8 million. Despite an 8.3% decline in organic sales, the company reported net sales of CHF 436 million and operating income (EBIT) of CHF 23.8 million.

In Switzerland, contract sales rose by 1.8% to 230,000. The Second Life business, including smartphone refurbishing, also showed strength, with sales up 47.8%. However, German operations saw a 9.8% decline in contract volumes as the strategy shifted towards higher margins per contract.

Looking forward, Mobilezone maintains its EBIT guidance of CHF 53-60 million for 2025. The company expects the MVNO customer base to grow beyond 480,000 by year-end, reflecting continuous market confidence and strategic direction.
