Wangen-Brüttisellen Greenlights Torfmatt Project
Wangen-Brüttisellen's municipal assembly has approved Mobimo's Torfmatt project, marking a significant milestone for this mixed-use development. This decision allows Mobimo to further develop the site, which spans approximately 16,000 m² of former industrial estate, into a vibrant neighborhood.
The project will transform the area with 300 apartments and around 5,000 m² of commercial space. The architecture, designed by KCAP with Studio Vulkan, features unique roof designs and central green spaces, enhancing its urban fabric.
The construction, planned in three phases, is set to start in autumn 2028 and complete by spring 2031. This redeveloped space is expected to rejuvenate the surrounding area, benefiting the community.
