Moody’s Upgrades Elis to Investment-Grade Rating
On November 8, 2024, Elis announced that Moody’s had raised its long-term credit rating to Baa3 with a stable outlook. This upgrade also applies to the Group's EMTN issuances, elevating them from Ba1 to Baa3. The adjustment underscores the financial resilience and growth capability of Elis’ business model.
Currently, Elis holds a BBB- rating with a stable outlook from S&P Global Ratings, a Baa3 rating from Moody’s, and a BBB rating from DBRS. Xavier Martiré, Chairman of Elis' Management Board, expressed his satisfaction with Moody's decision, which he regards as recognition of the Group’s financial robustness and potential for enhanced margins and cash flow.
Martiré reaffirmed the commitment to maintaining the investment-grade status through sound financial practices while continuing to focus on profitable growth and shareholder value.
