Mooring Tech Introduces the TOUGHBOOK 40 Mk2 with Advanced AI and Enhanced Performance
Mooring Tech has announced that the new Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 40 Mk2 is now available for order. This rugged laptop combines a modular design with an AI-optimized Intel processor, providing enhanced performance for demanding environments. It meets MIL-STD-810H and IP66 standards, ensuring durability and superior connectivity.
The TOUGHBOOK 40 Mk2 features user-removable expansion packs that enable easy upgrades and customization. It is powered by Intel processors with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU), and offers configurations with up to 64GB DDR5 RAM and 4TB storage. Connectivity is enhanced with support for Intel Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G modems.
The new model significantly upgrades from its predecessor, boasting a 300% increase in cores, enhanced graphics, faster RAM, and more storage. It also incorporates high-level security features, including Intel Hardware Shield and optional encrypted SSDs, making it a robust choice for professionals.
