MSCTV adopts Witbe technology to optimize its television services
Mitchell Seaforth Cable TV (MSCTV), a Canadian telecom operator, integrates Witbe’s Virtual NOC to enhance the quality of its linear television service. Announced on December 5, 2024, this partnership allows MSCTV to visualize and control its video streams in real time. Witbe’s technology, via the Witbox+, allows MSCTV to test its video applications on real boxes, thus optimizing the user experience.
Michael Hawkes, Managing Director of MSCTV, highlights the importance of video quality for customer satisfaction. Witbe offers automated monitoring that detects interruptions. The Virtual NOC centralizes data and performance indicators, allowing a rapid response in the event of a problem. In addition, automated zapping technology monitors channel availability, thus reinforcing the reliability of the service provided to viewers.
