Murchison Minerals Identifies New Precious Metals Zone in Saskatchewan

Murchison Minerals Ltd. has reported the completion of a lithogeochemical study at its BMK Deposit and surrounding VMS targets in Saskatchewan. Conducted by Dr. Stephen J. Piercey, a renowned VMS expert, the study confirmed the geological settings typical of high-tonnage VMS deposits.

Significantly, a new gold-silver-lead mineralization zone was discovered at the BMK Deposit. Assay results from drill hole BR07-39 revealed notable grades, including 7.17 g/t gold and 663 g/t silver over 0.5 meters, suggesting the presence of a high-value precious metals zone below the previously identified mineralization.

The findings also emphasized the geological continuity of prospective lithologies along the 37 km BMK Trend, enhancing the area's potential for hosting additional VMS deposits. The discovery at BR07-39 could substantially increase the overall resource value at the BMK Project, with plans for a comprehensive relogging and resampling program to further evaluate the extent and grade of the newly identified zone.
