Mutares Acquires Alcura France from Alliance Healthcare Group
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA announced the completion of its acquisition of Alcura France from Alliance Healthcare Group France. This move marks a strategic development in the healthcare sector and aims to strengthen Mutares' Goods & Services division. Alcura France, based in Châteauroux, is a leading distributor of home care equipment, serving over 8,000 customers nationwide.
Founded in 1973, Alcura France provides a wide range of medical equipment, from beds to wheelchairs, mainly to seniors and disabled individuals. With a team of about 500 professionals spread across 43 locations, the company reported approximately EUR 60 million in revenue in 2023.
This acquisition aligns with Mutares' strategy to enhance its portfolio through investments in companies with significant improvement potential. Mutares, with offices globally, continues to seek opportunities for growth and operational enhancements to achieve its revenue targets.
