Mutares Completes Eleventh Acquisition in 2024
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has successfully acquired Wilda Transport och Entreprenad AB and NU Entreprenad AB from Wilton Invest AB. These Swedish firms specialize in the transportation of construction goods, seasonal road operations, and traffic safety services. In 2023, both companies generated revenues of approximately EUR 10 million.
This acquisition will strengthen the Terranor Group, an existing unit within the Mutares portfolio, by enhancing its capabilities in the Goods & Services segment. The companies primarily serve general contractors for road operations, offering significant growth potential across their service areas.
Robin Laik, CEO of Mutares, highlighted the acquisition as a strategic move to fortify Mutares' market position in Sweden's state road operations and maintenance sector. The integration aims to accelerate the company's diversification strategy and leverage synergy potentials in the region.
