Mutares Acquires Kawneer EU from Arconic

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Kawneer EU from Arconic, focusing on enhancing its Engineering & Technology segment. The transaction, subject to merger approvals, is projected to conclude in Q4 2025. Kawneer EU, a leading force in aluminum window and façade systems, operates in the Netherlands, France, and the UK. It generates approximately EUR 125 million in revenue, serving over 450 customers through four facilities.

Kawneer EU's reputation in quality and efficiency fortifies its customer loyalty, with Mutares planning to advance operational improvements and geographical expansion. The acquisition aligns with Mutares' strategy to integrate Kawneer EU with its subsidiaries, like Byldis and Smart Curtain Wall, enhancing its technological prowess in the European market.
