Mutares Strengthens Goods & Services Segment with Fuentes Acquisition
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA has announced the acquisition of Lineage Spain Transportation S.L. “Fuentes” from the Lineage Group. This move aims to bolster their Goods & Services segment, with an anticipated closure in Q3 2025, pending regulatory approval. Fuentes, specializing in temperature-controlled logistics for food transport, operates in Murcia, Spain, and internationally.
Fuentes plans to generate revenues of approximately EUR 200 million in 2025. The company employs 850 people, manages a fleet of over 480 trucks and 540 trailers, and collaborates with over 3,000 subcontractors. Mutares aims to leverage this acquisition to enhance their operational capabilities and capitalize on growth opportunities in the Spanish logistics market.
