Mutares Successfully Sells Frigoscandia to Dachser

Munich-based Mutares SE & Co. KGaA announced the successful sale of its portfolio company Frigoscandia to Dachser, a global leader in groupage logistics, marking a significant contribution to Mutares' net income for the fiscal year 2024. Frigoscandia, headquartered in Helsingborg, Sweden, excels as a leading provider of temperature-controlled logistics in the Nordic market, employing around 1,300 people and generating over EUR 300 million in revenue in 2023.

Since its acquisition in 2021 from Posten Norge, Frigoscandia underwent a series of strategic realignments and M&A activities under Mutares, boosting its stance as a key player in the region. These actions include divesting its French business and acquiring Polar Frakt and GKT. This sale not only underscores Frigoscandia's robust position in a growing market but also significantly enhances Dachser's capabilities in food logistics within the Nordics.
