NASH kNOWledge Unveils New LiverAdvocates.org Website with Risk Assessment Quiz
PITTSBURGH, PA / ACCESSWIRE / August 27, 2024 / NASH kNOWledge has launched a redesigned website and introduced a new URL, LiverAdvocates.org, as the organization nears its 6-year anniversary on September 1. The refresh aims to provide easier access to resources for fatty liver disease patients, caregivers, and medical professionals, including a new Fatty Liver Risk Assessment quiz.
Founder Tony Villiotti, a liver transplant and cancer survivor, initiated NASH kNOWledge to bridge the information gap for patients. "My life was saved for a reason," Villiotti states, emphasizing the nonprofit's comprehensive library of resources on fatty liver disease.
The new website, developed by DX Performance, is intended as a centralized hub for information on liver diseases such as NASH/MASH, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. "Our social media reach is large, and our website better aligns with our daily mission," notes Executive Director Gina Madison.
DX Performance, a Pittsburgh-based firm, partnered on the redesign, highlighting the nonprofit's mission to educate the public on liver health. "We believe this new platform will empower them to make an even greater impact," says DX Performance CEO Dan Simkins.
NASH kNOWledge offers a variety of free resources including infographics, documentaries, and a Zoom-based Liver Disease Support Group.
