Neoen (ISIN: FR0011675362, ticker: NEOEN) announced a 25-year corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) with SNCF Energie. Under this agreement, SNCF Energie will acquire all electricity produced by the Le Couret agrisolar farm, located in Haute-Vienne, France, which has a capacity of 139 MWp. This solar farm, fully owned by Neoen, will become the company's second-largest asset in France.

Scheduled for construction in 2026 and commissioning in 2028, Le Couret will supply electricity equivalent to the annual consumption for the high-speed Paris-Marseille line. The project will integrate renewable energy production with sheep farming, utilizing 150 hectares for grazing, benefiting both energy and agriculture sectors.

Olivier Menuet from SNCF Energie highlighted that the PPA aligns with SNCF’s commitment to responsible energy, aiming for low-carbon solutions and distancing from fossil fuels. SNCF is nearing its goal of 20 PPAs for a total of 1.1 TWh of renewable electricity.

Xavier Barbaro, CEO of Neoen, emphasized the company's role in the decarbonization of the transport sector, noting Neoen's extensive experience in PPAs globally as a significant factor in their partnership with SNCF.
