Nestlé promotes nutrition in Ivorian cuisine
Nestlé Côte d'Ivoire launches "La Cuisine de Chez Nous," a series aimed at raising awareness about nutrition in Abidjan's gastronomy. Broadcast on 7 INFO and PULSE CI, it features nutritionist Dr. Jules Kouassi, who explores local specialties such as placali, alloco, and garba. Each episode analyzes the nutritional value of the dishes and offers tips for balancing flavors and nutritional benefits.
Nestlé also enriches its local products to improve public health. MAGGI cubes, for example, contain iodine and iron to combat deficiencies. In addition, NIDO powdered milk and MALTO drink provide essential nutritional support for children.
Through its actions, Nestlé aims to raise awareness and encourage healthy food choices, while preserving Ivorian culinary traditions.
