NET DIGITAL AG Unveils airis:ident for Automated Identity Verification

NET DIGITAL AG has launched airis:ident, an AI-powered product for automated and legally compliant identity verification worldwide. This solution enables Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, verifying over 13,000 types of identity documents from more than 200 countries within seconds. The product promises to enhance efficiency and significantly reduce costs.

Developed by the subsidiary irisnet, airis:ident compares a selfie with the submitted ID document via AI. Successful tests have led to its rollout, with full-scale deployment set for Q4 2024. The initial use case involves a mobile phone provider, with plans to expand into the financial sector.

CEO Theodor Niehues highlighted that airis:ident simplifies online transactions and ensures regulatory compliance for retailers. This product is expected to have high-margin growth and significant cross-selling opportunities.
