New CEO Joins SMT Scharf AG Managing Board

On September 19, 2024, SMT Scharf AG announced the appointment of Mr. Jun Liu as the new Chairman of the Managing Board. This decision was made by the Supervisory Board and is effective immediately. Liu will collaborate with current board members, Mr. Reinhard Reinartz and Mr. Volker Weiss. From now on, Reinartz will serve as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) while Weiss continues his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Additionally, there have been changes within the Supervisory Board. Mr. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Vorsteher and Mrs. Dipl.-Vw. Dorothea Gattineau have resigned, and their positions are being taken over by Mr. Li Zhang and Mr. Qiang Yu.
