Nexera Announces Delayed Filing of Annual Financial Statements
CALGARY, AB and SAN ANTONIO, TX / ACCESSWIRE / July 16, 2024 / Nexera Energy Inc. (TSX Venture: NGY) (OTC PINK: EMBYF) provided an update on the status of its annual financial statements for the year ended March 31, 2024. The auditors informed Nexera of delays due to recently resolved internal staffing and software issues.
As a result, the annual filings will not meet the prescribed deadline of July 29, 2024. However, Nexera aims to complete the filings by August 28, 2024. No material business developments have occurred since the last financial statements.
Nexera has applied to the Alberta Securities Commission for a Management Cease Trade Order to address the filing delay. If granted, the order will restrict trading by management but not other shareholders. Nexera will issue bi-weekly updates as long as the default persists.
