Nordex Group Receives Major 264 MW Wind Turbine Order From Lithuania

The Nordex Group has been selected by UAB Renerga, a prominent Lithuanian wind energy project developer and part of the Achema Group, to provide 40 N163/6.X turbines for the 264 MW Pagegiai wind farm in western Lithuania. This milestone project, accompanied by a Premium Service contract, marks a significant step towards Lithuania's renewable energy objectives. Construction work is set to begin in June 2024, with turbine delivery and installation slated for the spring of 2025. The project aims for completion in 2026.

Lidija Lubiene of the Achema Group highlights the importance of the Pagegiai project in Lithuania's renewable energy landscape, while Mindaugas Juodis, CEO of Renerga, emphasizes the project's role in reinforcing Renerga's position as Lithuania's leading renewables developer. Patxi Landa from the Nordex Group also expressed pride in their new partnership with UAB Renerga on this significant project.

With this new order, the Nordex Group's total sales in Lithuania have surpassed 850 MW since 2015, indicating a strong market presence with 460 MW currently under construction. This collaboration between the Nordex Group and UAB Renerga underscores the growing focus on renewable energy in Lithuania and the broader Baltic region.
