Nordex Group Receives Provisional Type Certificate for N175/6.X Turbine

Hamburg, 25 September 2024. TÜV SÜD has issued the IECRE Provisional Type Certificate (P-TC) for the N175/6.X turbine, and it was handed over to the Nordex Group at WindEnergy Hamburg on 24 September 2024.

With the Provisional Type Certificate, Nordex Group can commence series production of the N175/6.X while conducting field tests on the prototype. The certificate also includes the final "Design Evaluation Conformity Statement" (DECS), confirming the design meets relevant standards and regulations.

Type certification as per IECRE is crucial for international marketing of wind turbines. It is often mandatory for tendering in global wind energy projects. Project developers and wind farm operators depend on such certified turbines to meet international standards.
