Nordex Group Secures 80 MW Wind Turbine Order from Borusan EnBW Enerji in Türkiye

Nordex Group announced an 80 MW order from Borusan EnBW Enerji, a prominent wind energy company in Türkiye, for the supply of 14 N163/5.X turbines. These turbines are part of the Delta4000 series and are designated for the Pelit wind farm in Sivas Province. The order, finalized in March 2024, also includes a 10-year Premium Service contract for the turbines.

This new order follows a previous 36 MW order that Borusan placed in December 2023 for the Balabanli Extension II project. These projects underscore Borusan EnBW Enerji’s commitment to boosting its renewable energy footprint in Türkiye, aiming to increase its installed renewable power to 934 MW. The Pelit wind project, expected to commence operations by the third quarter of 2025, will feature turbines on 108-meter-high steel towers equipped with anti-icing systems to enhance efficiency and safety.
