NORD/LB to Pay Interest on Additional Tier 1 Notes in 2025
The Executive Board of Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (NORD/LB) has decided to pay the full interest on the Additional Tier 1 Notes of the former Bremer Landesbank. The interest payment is scheduled for June 29, 2025, covering the period from June 29, 2024, to June 29, 2025. This decision was made following the assessment of available distributable items.
The decision was primarily based on the net profit from NORD/LB's parent company for the 2024 financial year. The profit offsets the previous loss carryforward of €334 million. The ability to proceed with this payout reflects the financial stability and performance of NORD/LB over the assessed period.
