NORMA Group Secures Contract for Electric Vehicle Platform
NORMA Group, headquartered in Maintal, Germany, announced a new contract to provide eM Safe quick connectors for an upcoming electric vehicle platform from a major US manufacturer. Deliveries will commence in 2027, aiming to equip up to 90,000 electric cars annually until 2034. The contract is valued at approximately EUR 14 million. The eM Safe quick connector, designed for battery-electric vehicles, ensures consistent fluid pressure levels with a flow-optimized geometry. It features two sealing O-rings for leak prevention and includes a Poka-Yoke function to prevent assembly errors. The connectors will be manufactured at NORMA Group's facility in St. Clair, Michigan, and supplied to a US-based customer.
