North Peak Advances Drilling at Prospect Mountain North

North Peak Resources Ltd. announced the next phase of drilling at Prospect Mountain North in Eureka, Nevada. The drilling will focus on the West side of the mountain, moving from the preliminary testing area of Industry and Silver Connor faults to the Duke, Banner, and Silver Connor fault system in Wabash. These faults are key conduits for gold-bearing fluids, similar to notable regional deposits.

The Wabash area was the focus of a significant drilling campaign in 1999. Historical intersections revealed notable gold and silver content. Current efforts aim to re-evaluate these intersections and target deeper, steeply dipping faults, which could improve the potential tonnage.

The drilling holes will reach up to 900 feet, with several planned to re-test historical intersections. Multi-element assays indicate anomalies consistent with intermediate mineralization styles, suggesting a combination of Carlin-type and carbonate replacement characteristics.
