OL Vallée Arena sold to Holnest and a group of investors
On June 6, 2024, Eagle Football Group signed an agreement with Holnest and investors to sell all of the shares of OL Vallée Arena, operator of the LDLC Arena. This transaction, authorized by the board of directors on June 5, involves 70 million euros, with a valuation of the company at 160 million euros.
Payment will be made in Eagle Football Group shares for 16 million euros and in cash for 54 million euros. The sale is scheduled to close on June 12, with an asset and liability guarantee included. This operation is aligned with the strategy of refocusing on men's football.
Since November 2023, the LDLC Arena has already hosted various events, including Euroleague matches and concerts. John Textor, CEO of Eagle Football Group, and Jean-Michel Aulas expressed their satisfaction with this agreement and their prospects for future collaboration with Holnest.
