Zachary Atekame loaned to Olympique Lyonnais
Olympique Lyonnais have officially announced the loan signing of Swiss defender Zachary Atekame from AC Milan until June 30, 2027. Born in Geneva, Atekame was developed at Swiss clubs before joining Neuchâtel Xamax, where he made his professional debut in the Swiss second division. After impressive performances, he joined Young Boys in 2024, making eight Champions League appearances.
Having transferred to AC Milan in the summer of 2025, Atekame played 27 Serie A matches, scoring twice. At 21, he has already earned 17 caps for the Swiss U21 team. Olympique Lyonnais sees him as a fast and versatile player who could strengthen Paulo Fonseca's squad.
