OncoveryCare Secures $4.5M Seed Round and Partners with Tennessee Oncology

OncoveryCare, previously known as VivorCare, has completed an oversubscribed $4.5 million seed financing round. Led by .406 Ventures and supported by the McKay Institute for Oncology Transformation at Tennessee Oncology, the funding aims to revolutionize cancer survivorship care. Tennessee Oncology, a key player treating half of Tennessee's cancer patients, also joins hands with OncoveryCare in this initiative.

With U.S. cancer survivor numbers expected to double between 2008 and 2030, OncoveryCare’s mission addresses the fragmented and costly current care model. As survival rates improve, the need for managing complex health challenges post-treatment becomes more critical. OncoveryCare's virtual care model offers survivors customized support, tackling issues such as cardiotoxicity, mental health, and comprehensive care planning.

This partnership facilitates the deployment of OncoveryCare’s model across Tennessee Oncology’s extensive network, supported by the innovation-driven McKay Institute. Led by experienced professionals, the initiative aims to extend OncoveryCare's impact nationwide, offering efficient and effective cancer survivorship solutions.

The funding led by .406 Ventures enables further development and scalability of OncoveryCare’s approach, addressing critical needs in survivorship care and intending to achieve better outcomes and reduced costs for cancer survivors.
