One Heritage Group Plc Announces Completion of North Church House in Sheffield

One Heritage Group PLC (LSE: OHG), a prominent UK residential developer, has reached practical completion of North Church House in Sheffield. This project repurposes a seven-storey former office building into a residential complex offering 58 one and two-bedroom apartments in the heart of Sheffield City Centre.

The construction of North Church House started in the first quarter of 2022 with One Heritage Construction serving as the main contractor. The project was supported by a team comprising Cube project managers, SSH architects, Kennedy Redford structural engineers, and Crooks Walker mechanical and electrical engineers, along with RJD Associates as the principal designers.

In a strategic shift, One Heritage Group announced that post the completion of North Church House, it will stop providing in-house construction services. Going forward, the company will engage fixed-price principal contractors for both direct development and development management projects. This change is part of a broader strategy to enhance project management efficiency, reduce risks, and utilize specialized expertise.

He highlighted the shift towards utilizing fixed-price principal contractors as a move that aligns with the company’s long-term vision to streamline operations and focus on their core competencies in residential development.
