ONI Accelerates EV Research with Launch of Innovative End-to-End Solution
ONI has announced the release of its advanced end-to-end solution aimed at revolutionizing the study of extracellular vesicles (EVs). This comprehensive system, comprising the ONI Application Kit™: EV Profiler 2 alongside the AutoEV analysis software, is crafted to offer researchers unparalleled precision in identifying and characterizing EVs at the individual vesicle level.
The newly introduced ONI solution presents a seamless super-resolution imaging acquisition and analysis workflow, specifically optimized for EV research. It significantly reduces the time researchers spend achieving results by employing Aplo Flow, an automated sample preparation platform that cuts the hands-on time by 85%. The EV Profiler 2 kit empowers researchers with flexible capture and detection strategies, facilitating the robust characterization of up to 12 samples in three colors.
James Rhodes, Bioware Product Manager at ONI, highlighted the inclusion of a new pan-EV reagent in the EV Profiler 2 kit that enhances confidence in EV identification and internal cargo detection. Moreover, ONI's Aplo Flow system is designed for fluid control and complements the Application Kits™ by automating the capture and detection processes, enabling researchers to focus more on advancing their studies.
Commenting on the launch, Salvatore Fanale, ONI's Hardware Product Manager, emphasized the significance of automation in boosting efficiency and simplicity in super-resolution microscopy workflows, which were previously manual-intensive. The AutoEV software complements this by automating data analysis and generating comprehensive reports, further enhancing the workflow's efficiency.
This integrated ONI solution promises to simplify and accelerate the research process, allowing for the processing of multiple samples within a day and reducing hands-on time for scientists.
