Orell Füssli AG Experiences Modest Growth in First Half of 2026
Zurich, 24 July 2026 – Orell Füssli AG reported a slight revenue increase in the first half of 2026, reaching CHF 121.4 million compared to CHF 120.1 million the previous year. Despite the growth in revenue, adjusted EBIT fell from CHF 10.2 million to CHF 6.9 million, primarily due to a shift in the security printing product mix.
The Security Printing division saw revenue rise to CHF 48.4 million, supported by a diverse customer base. Zeiser experienced minor setbacks due to project delays in the Gulf, but maintained steady revenue. In book retailing, Orell Füssli Thalia's acquisition expanded market presence, though EBIT declined to CHF 1.0 million due to acquisition costs.
Procivis secured two EU contracts, benefiting from the growing demand for digital identity solutions amidst the eIDAS 2.0 Regulation rollout. Despite economic uncertainties, Orell Füssli maintains a cautious outlook, forecasting revenue growth slightly below the 4-6% range and an EBIT margin around 9% for the year.
