Orell Füssli Reports Growth in First Half of 2025

Orell Füssli Ltd has maintained its growth trajectory in the first half of 2025. The company reported a 12% increase in revenue, reaching CHF 120.1 million, compared to CHF 107.1 million last year. Operating profit also rose significantly to CHF 10.2 million from CHF 4.6 million in the previous year.

The Security Printing Division was a key driver of this growth, with revenue climbing to CHF 47.3 million. Despite reduced consumer sentiment, the book retailing sector improved its sales to CHF 54.2 million. Additionally, the acquisition of Verlag SKV AG helped expand the publishing segment's portfolio.

Prospects for the second half of the year are optimistic, with a positive sales outlook based on current order backlogs. Orell Füssli expects its annual revenue growth to exceed the previously communicated range of 4-6%.
