OVHcloud Unveils Bare Metal Pod: Ultra-Secure Cloud Platform for Sensitive Environments

Roubaix – September 19th, 2024 – OVHcloud has announced the launch of Bare Metal Pod, a cloud platform designed to meet the highest security standards. This product is undergoing ANSSI SecNumCloud qualification to ensure its use in sensitive environments like AIFE.

Bare Metal Pod offers complete isolation at both physical and software levels. Each customer operates in a dedicated space within an OVHcloud datacenter, benefiting from dedicated servers and network equipment.

OVHcloud employs advanced security and encryption mechanisms, including an IAM system and customer-managed encryption keys, ensuring robust security and observability over infrastructure.

Bare Metal Pod will be available in three geographical zones, ensuring maximum resiliency. Each deployment guarantees complete separation and encrypted networking between datacenters.

This new platform supports SecNumCloud qualifications, aiming for complete qualification by early 2025. OVHcloud’s roadmap includes a planned SecNumCloud request for their Public Cloud products, integrating Bare Metal Pod into their portfolio.
